Jim Jackson joins Harvard as offensive line coach in 2024, bringing 20 years of coaching experience at nine collegiate programs. He most recently served as offensive line coach and run-game coordinator at Cypress Springs (Texas) High, leading an 8-3 turnaround season. Jackson’s college stops include Rice, UMass, San Diego, and Southern Illinois, where he mentored multiple All-Americans and helped USD to four FCS playoff appearances.
His career also features roles at Minnesota, Louisiana-Lafayette, Toledo, Lehigh, and Methodist. Notable achievements include developing All-American tight end MyCole Pruitt at Southern Illinois and cutting UMass’ sacks allowed by 69% in 2019. A former Cornell football and baseball player, Jackson holds a bachelor’s in communications from Cornell and a master’s in sports management from Minnesota.
