Dickenson is in his 16th season on the Stampeders’ coaching staff, eighth as head coach, and second as general manager, boasting a 79-41-2 regular-season record. In 2023, he guided Calgary to an 18th consecutive playoff berth, with standout performances from CFL all-stars Micah Awe, Reggie Begelton, and Mike Rose.
The Stampeders achieved a 12-6 record in 2022, leading the league in points scored and earning 11 West Division all-star selections. Under Dickenson’s leadership, Calgary has consistently ranked among the CFL’s best, including a 2018 Grey Cup victory and a record-breaking 15-2-1 season in 2016. Before coaching, Dickenson had a storied 13-year playing career, highlighted by MVP honors and numerous CFL passing records. A University of Montana alum, he is a member of the College Football and Big Sky Conference Halls of Fame.
