Kamau Dumas joined Central Oklahoma as cornerbacks coach in February 2024. He previously coached defensive backs at Wagner College (NY), leading the conference in interceptions and run defense while mentoring an All-American safety.
Dumas’s experience includes coaching at Gannon University (Division II), McPherson College (NAIA), and Morristown High School. At Gannon, he helped win a co-PSAC West title in 2022. A former Monmouth University standout, he holds the school’s longest punt return record (89 yards) and was an All-Big South selection. He earned a communications degree from Monmouth and trained with the New York Giants and Baltimore Brigade.
