Elijah Hodge, South Dakota

Elijah Hodge, a Wisconsin alum, joined the Coyotes in spring 2022, focusing on inside linebackers. A former Badger linebacker, Hodge played 35 games, starting 11 as a sophomore and finishing third on the team with 67 tackles. After earning a sociology degree, he transferred to Northern Iowa, where he was the Panthers’ fourth-leading tackler in 2009. This role marks Hodge’s collegiate coaching debut, though he has valuable experience building Roxbury Prep Charter’s varsity football program in Boston. He led the team to consecutive playoff berths, including the school’s first playoff win.

Hodge’s leadership experience extends beyond football. He served as dean of students at Roxbury Prep (2017-20), dean of culture and climate at Muriel Snowden International School (2013), and coordinator of retention and support at Phoenix Charter Academy (2012).
