Jeff McMartin, the 2024 president of the AFCA, is the 10th-winningest active coach in NCAA Division III, with a career record of 155-48 (.763) at Central College. Since taking over in 2004, McMartin has led the Dutch to six conference titles, including a 2021 championship, and six NCAA Division III playoff appearances. He was named the 2021 AFCA Division III Coach of the Year, and his teams have set numerous records, including leading Division III in total and scoring offense in 2021. McMartin has earned five conference coach of the year honors and is a two-time regional coach of the year.
A graduate of Central College, McMartin has been deeply involved in AFCA leadership, serving on the board of trustees and as president. He has contributed to policy decisions for the organization, which serves over 12,000 members. McMartin also had coaching stints at DePauw University, Beloit College, and Illinois Wesleyan, with his teams setting numerous offensive records.
