We have a merged fee structure with ONE single payment for membership dues.  One of the benefits of a member is the ability to attend the convention at no additional charge.

Annual membership dues are broken down into categories based on coaching level/position:

• FBS Head Coaches – $300
• FBS Assistant Coaches/Graduate Assistants/Others – $175
• FCS, DII, DIII, or NAIA Head Coaches – $175
• Pro, CFL, Arena, Pro Scouts – $175
• FCS, DII, DIII, NAIA Assistant Coaches – $125
• JUCO and High School Coaches – $125
• Not currently coaching this season – $300
• International – $125

This is a closed event, meaning it is only open to those that are active AFCA members. If you wish to attend the event as a non-AFCA member, please send an email to [email protected].

While we do offer on-site registration and membership purchase, we highly encourage individuals to purchase their membership prior to convention, so that you can get the most out of your Convention experience in Nashville!

If you would like to register multiple people at the same time on a single charge, please send an email to [email protected] with the list of individuals, their role on the staff, and their individual email address. You can also call our office directly at (254) 754-9900 and ask to speak with someone in our Membership Department.

Visit our website and click the “Login” button in the top right of the screen. Enter your username and password to sign in to the membership portal.  Once in the portal, click on the “Digital Library” link on the left. It should open a new tab/window, so be sure to disable your pop-up blocker. Only those with an active AFCA membership will be able to gain access to the Digital Library.  

The 2024 AFCA Convention will take place January 12-15, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

By booking a room in the AFCA Room Block, you agree to secure an AFCA Membership or obtain other AFCA credentials. Failure to do so could result in the cancellation of your reservation. A one night’s room and tax deposit is required when making your reservation and will be charged by the hotel on or near December 15th, 2023. If you prefer to pay by check, send payment for one night’s room and 16.25% tax for each room requested to ResQuest Hotel Service. Hotel reservations have a 7 days advance cancellation and must be done by contacting the hotel directly after December 22nd, 2023. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO MAKE YOUR HOUSING RESERVATIONS IMMEDIATELY. Convention attendees can earn professional development hours by attending speaking sessions in the Professional Development Series (PDS) and/or High School Coaches Academy (HSCA). Attendees will simply have to fill out an online form by selecting the sessions they attend attend after they have attended the required number of sessions. The form can be found at bit.ly/afcapds.

The required number of PDS hours is six (6) and the required number for HSCA is three (3).

You are welcome to donate online to our Foundation. Please click here to be directed to our donation page. In addition, you can make a donation by purchasing a brick to honor a coach in our Plaza of Influence. The Plaza of Influence is a tremendous opportunity for coaches, players, family, friends, or anyone to honor a football coach. Through the American Football Coaches Foundation, you can permanently memorialize the contributions of a special coach at the headquarters of the AFCA. A brick inscribed with the coach’s name is laid in the Plaza of Influence, the only place in the country where football coaches of all levels are recognized for the influence they have on the lives of those they have coached on and off the field.
